Emma He & Maddie McCann are a screenwriting & directing duo based in Brooklyn and Baltimore. They first locked eyes in a Zoom breakout room but have since taken their relationship IRL, writing and directing various projects for film and television. Their first feature script, Superbloom, was selected for the 2026 Film Independent Screenwriting Lab and was a Top 10 Finalist in the 2025 Shore Scripts Feature Contest. Their short films, I Want To Be You and Musicians Wanted, have screened at festivals including the Chelsea Film Festival and Philadelphia Film Society’s monthly showcase.
